White Belt:
Introductory level


Yellow Stripe: (10)
Horse stance, forebalance, back balance, Basic punching, downward block, rising block, front kick
Minimum 4 weeks = 8 classes as white belt


Yellow Belt: (9)
Chon-ji, side block, lunge punch, round-house kick, side kick
Minimum 11 weeks = 20 classes as yellow stripe


Orange Belt: (8)
Tangun, knife-hand block, spear finger, sparring
Minimum 11 weeks = 20 classes as yellow belt


2nd Orange
Forearm block, low-high kick, reverse advance, reverse knife hand, sparring
Minimum 11 weeks = 20 classes as orange belt


Green Belt: (7)
Tosan, jump front kick, sparring
Minimum 12 weeks = 22 classes as 2nd orange


2nd Green:
Spinning back kick, hand escapes, sparring
Minimum 12 weeks = 22 classes as green belt


Blue Belt: (6)
Won-hyo, heel kick, sparring
Minimum 22 weeks = 40 classes as 2nd green


2nd Blue Belt
Yul-kok, spinning heel, 2nd set self defense (cloth grabs)
Minimum 22 weeks = 40 classes as blue belt


4th Brown Belt: (4)
Chung-gwen, continuous sparring
Minimum 24 weeks = 42 classes as 2nd blue


3rd Brown: (3)
Toi-gye, multiple sparring (2)
Minimum 24 weeks = 42 classes as 4th degree brown


2nd Brown: (2)
Hwa-rang, multiple sparring (3)
Minimum 24 weeks = 45 classes as 3rd degree brown

1st Brown: (1)
Chung-mu, 3rd set self defense, multiple sparring (3)
Minimum 24 weeks = 45 classes as 2nd degree brown


Black Belt Candidate:
Ba Sai
Minimum 24 weeks = 50 classes as 1st degree brown


1st Dan Black Belt:
Kwan Gye, full contact, multiple sparring (4)
Minimum 26 to 52 weeks = 60 classes as black belt candidate
